About Arizona Hoodoos

Located in the northeastern part of Arizona, near the border of Utah, Arizona Hoodoos in Page is a unique and spectacular geological formation. The hoodoos, also known as tent rocks or fairy chimneys, are tall, thin pillars of rock that have been formed over time by erosion. These magnificent structures are made of sedimentary rock layers, ranging in color from orange and red to white and gray. This area was once covered by an ancient sea, and the erosion caused by wind and water created these stunning hoodoos. Visitors can hike through the area, marveling at the towering formations and the intricate details of their shapes. The most famous and photographed hoodoo in this area is the Toadstool, which resembles a mushroom. Other unique features of this place include sandstone arches, winding canyons, and panoramic views of the desert landscape.
