About Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls is a stunning natural attraction located in the Columbia River Gorge, just 30 minutes outside of Portland, Oregon. It is a two-tiered waterfall standing at 620 feet tall, making it one of the tallest waterfalls in the United States. The waterfall is surrounded by lush green forest and is a popular spot for hiking and photography. Multnomah Falls has a rich history, with the original settler of the land, Simon Benson, building a bridge over the falls in the early 1900s. The bridge, known as Benson Footbridge, is still there today and offers a spectacular view of the falls. Other unique features of Multnomah Falls include a lodge and restaurant at the base of the falls, as well as a series of other smaller waterfalls nearby.
